Hydrophobic Melamine Foam is an alternative to Heat Wave Pro for ceilings and also an alternative for Luxury Liner Pro applications. It is a light weight option that still has very high sound absorbing capabilities and also decent thermal value without the added weight of LLP ( 1 lb per sqft vs .2 lbs per sqft) Luxury Liner Pro would still be the recommended materiel for ultimate sound absorbing, blocking, and thermal insulation. While Mega'Zorbe would be best for ceilings, trunk lids, and also fill gaps in pillars without adding weight.

Mega'Block will be used on the engine side of the firewall or hood as Heat Wave Pro is used as an alternative. Mega'Zorbes 1,000 degree heat reflector will work very well at deflecting engine heat and also provide sound absorption from the melamine foam it has on it also.

We originally brought this product in to help out a local garbage truck company with its fleet of trucks and a heat issue. So we have not had time yet to get it used on other applications, we will be working with some top notch installers to get some vids and pics going for this new product soon.

Thanks for all your interest and keep an eye on our social media pages and SMD for upcoming videos and projects with the new materiel.

Gonna have Mark from car auido fabrication do the vid? He does awesome "attention to detail" style of work. Some might call it overkill lol but i prefer over the top work rather then corner cutting work.

Is this new product alot slimmer, than the heat wave pro and LLP?

The Melamine foam is 1/2" thick as it takes at least 1/2" of foam to absorb both short and long waves, like this product does. Heat Wave Pro would be the thinnest.
