SnowDrifter Posted January 22, 2017 Report Share Posted January 22, 2017 I have a vipertek VTS-989 right now. Honestly the thing feels really damn cheesy, I'm not entirely sure I trust it. Then there's the issue of charging: there's no way of determining state of charge. It doesn't have any low battery indicator and the charger doesn't shut off when it reaches full charge. I'm not very fond of the flashlights with electrodes stuck on them. What's out there? Search after search sends me back to vipertek. I feel like when I first got into car audio and came to the conclusion that Kicker was the best brand. They're not, they just have way better marketing that drowns out the actual good equipment. There's gotta be better out there Edit: To clarify: Stun gun, not taser.
