meade916
Ok heres a few updates......the MTX's ARE OUT, the RE MT's are in! My boy Sean givin me a hand! HMMMMMM wonder whats in these boxes Out with the old, in with the new. Oh wait they are all new. Oh well. Naturally, the holes DID NOT line up and even if they did the RE logo would be crooked so guess what. Time to drill and tap ALL new holes. What a pain in the ass. Nice aluminum allen head bolts. Everything worked out great in the end. Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! meade916
These inserts on the bottom of the door panels needed to be made out of fiberglass first. This is a fish & game tag all the hydes come with. Only the big boys roll this material Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! meade916
The best part of using REAL gator is that you dont have any pattern repeating itself twice. If you look you can see the scales dont match from area to area. Some is similar but never exact Also you can see some scarring in the hyde from its days out in the wild or something...aint no "pleather" up in this ride  here are some more LED's......now there will be a total of 219 inside the box. Three of these will be put together to form a "pixle" and dropped down into the 1" plexi speaker baffles. It will make the box glow even nicer plus the baffles will now be end-lit. If it goes as planned the cutout around the subs will glow since that is also one of the endlit areas. those individual LED's are what will form a single pixle 4 times along each baffle. That is 8 sets of 3 plus an extra pixle (for a total of 9) whereever i chose to mount them. They then will be tied into the existing system so everything is the same color. Updates as they happen! Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! meade916
thanks alot fellas! heres some slight updates: added the extra LED's.......drilled down thru the 1 1/4" MDF, thru the 1/4" mirror and about 1/4" into the 1" plexi which is the baffle for the subs. Dropped 3 LED's (red, blue, green to form a single pixle) into each hole. It isnt quit as bright as i was hoping but it did smooth out the glow in the box so all the light doesnt appear to come from the rear anymore. Its got a more full look.
