I always heard they were all bullshit but I bought a 12$ rain-x kit from auto parts store cause I just got HID light and noticed I had a lot of grey/yellow build up on my headlights and wanted to get them clear as possible , I tried just scrubbing the and didn't do anything.

but I used the kit and had pretty good result, you can't tell in the pics as much as looking at it lol

Ive heard of using stove top cleaner, not sure how often it would need to be used though. Cleaning the inside, if you can, could also help, a toothbrush can get in there and possibly get anything thats gotten inside over years of time.

Get a can of off and spray a rag and wipe the headlights with it a few times till it clears up.

You can also use toothpaste on a rag.

You can get an expensive headlight restoration kit at the auto parts store.

There are several methods to get it cleaned up, just need to decide which one to use is all.

Yea the kit had 3 different buffing/sanding pads a lubricant while sanding and a sealant

i was happy with the result, it's a 95 so they are not gonna turn out perfect but it cleaned them up pretty nice
