Sufkayx
Hi i have 3 2ohm svc subs laying around and want to make a ported enclosure for them. My amplifier puts out 1200 at 2ohm and 2000rms at 1 ohm. Is there any way i can wire them to meet any of these ratings. What would they drop down to if i was to wire them in parralel. also is there a formula to work this out for svc and dvc subs ? Hope some one can help regards sufyaan

Triticum Agricolam
Well your choices are either all in series for a 6 ohm final load, or all in parallel for a .66 ohm final load. You aren't going to get much power at 6 ohms. .66 ohm is USUALLY OK with quality amps, though its not what I'd call an ideal situation.
