I'm on the hunt for a locking gas cap for a 2005 tahoe. One that can be keyed to use with the ignition key, not it's own separate little doo-dad. Anyone know where I could find such a thing?

U can always buy a locking gas cap and have a lock smith rekey it to the ignition key , those guys can do anything with keys.

I would think that the ignition key would be too long to fit in the cap lock. Totally different tumbler setups. Just do what everyone else does and put the small cap key on the ring next to the ignition key.

U can key the first couple of tumblers on the ignition key to the lock but if u ever had to remove a locking gas cap without a key , it takes about 3 seconds there kind of a waste.

They are pointless, you can open it with a screw driver in about two seconds.

and if you live somewhere with a cold climate they have a tendency to freeze shut so you end up having to break them off anyways.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
