But I will start putting in the SecondSkin, Lux liner and heat wave in next week as well as building the amp rack that will house the 3 amps power the doors and tweets in the center console. And started working on the iPad Dash mod, still waiting on the Soundman kit though....2 weeks it's been in preshipment. But I'm about to start putting in SecondSkin and running power/ground and RCAs so I want to install the new radio and PAC steering wheel controls, etc etc. It's upside down, basic shape is there, some routing still to do to get it ready for adding lights and polycarbonate glass on the front. Subs will be 2 downward and 1 on each side, wrapped in Cherry Veneer and top cushioned and lined with factory grey leather to match interior. I'll replace the other wood trim in the truck with the same veneer I use on the box as well. Started planning on the Dash as well Just doin' my thing in the car audio. Still working on getting build forums up. I have another photo of the pieces for the sub box cutout, which I'll post later. I mostly focused on sound deadening. Finished the front cabin, so tonight I will finish the rear and the doors and they will be much simpler because there aren't a bunch of bolts coming out of the floor and wires to run. lancelot0069 Posted March 22, 2017 Author Report Share Posted March 22, 2017 Got some more done last night, ran the SHCA 1/0 power and 1/0 ground, put amps and distro blocks down for placement, I'll have to carve out some lux liner for the blocks so the base of the center console doesn't sit right on top, but things are fitting well.
