Hertz told me there are 0 Internets sales from other dealers. No warranty if bought from internet besides Hertz themselves. Cal Hertz they may have some of last years stock on sale. bigmizzle99 Posted March 24, 2017 Report Share Posted March 24, 2017 I have the HSK 165s right now. I bought mine from an authorized dealer during a tent sale, and paid $250, brand new. The mid bass is good (I wouldnt say great) but I don't like the tweeter. The Crescendo Mezzo tweeter (my last component set) was considerably better. I dont think you'll bring up the level of the door speakers with a set of Hertz HSK 165s. Maybe the XLs, but not plain 165s. I kept the mille ferrite 6.5 drivers and the mlk crossover and tweets. sold the the other set to my bro. Thee ferrite drivers spose to have more punch. I got them on a hertz 150 wrms x4 channel. Their savage. The sound is unbelievable. .only thing your gonna find better for Sq is rainbow morel or fcoals. But their in the same league for sure . Mack187Murder Posted July 12, 2017 Report Share Posted July 12, 2017 Also I bought the cdt audio 6.7" mid bass drivers with a range of 10hz -4000hz for my back door. Put.my b channel to low pass and set the crossover to 4000. Since my doors are sealed with deadener and dampener it sounds like I got a sub in the whip. Really.happy with them tho.
