box for 2-15" hdc4s

just wanna get a double check on a box im gonna build soon.

2-15" HDC4 subs

8.5 cubes after port and sub dispacment

3-6" ports 26" long each tuned at 30hz

will run a sq4500d on the pair

 

box will be 39" wide, 16" tall, 33" deep made from .75 birch with internal reinforcements

Really........ I can read. all I am saying is they said a single 6 isn't even enough for a single 12. and With his specs his box is sitting at 7.8 cubes with sub and port displacements. Thats with out any bracing

Sure it will do something. But like Joe x said, the port velocity will be high at full power which will cause port compression and a decline in output from the ports. You need more port if you want to get everything you can out of it.

well whoever you spoke to is an idiot...a single 6" aero will work fine for a 12", actually for most drivers that will actually be too much...dont let my post count on here fool you like im some noob...this is what i do...literally (www.facebook.com/TurbulentDesigns)
