OnePunch
I have a question and I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section: If you have your amps set so that the speakers do not distort at max headunit volume and you add a DSP to the chain before the amps, do you have to reset the amp gains, or should they be lower? I dont want to be too low in noise floor or too high, I like tuning so that at max volume none of my speakers will distort even on the most absurdly compressed modern dance songs. 06RTCharger
I cant help with the question at hand. But i can tell you where you'd get more help. At the homepage, scroll down to the "Equipment" section. Then under the "Headunits, processors, Eq" topics, you can post ur question there. Dsp is a processor. Jessica
i would recheck your gains, the dsp will most likely have a an effect on your line voltage Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. ShadeTreeMechanic
I agree with Duck. Any time I make a change I will go back and set the gain again. I like to run a high signal so I can keep the amp gains low. What kind of DSP is it? 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
