I got my seats and center console put back in, so at least I can drive the Jeep again.  I still have the HU powering the mids & tweets, but I've got the sub amp running through the DSP.  The DSP gives me a lot more control of the signal going out to the sub amp vs the HU.  I can now set the crossover frequency and subsonic filter to whatever I want, easily. I can also change the slopes of the crossover and SSF.  Here are some shots of what the config app for the DSP looks like.

The input screen controls input signal levels and is where you can set the parametric EQ on each of the inputs.

The routing screen is where you set what inputs go to what outputs.  Input 1 & 2 are the left and right channels coming from the HU.  Input 3 & 4 are the sub channels from the HU.  Output 1 & 2 will be the tweeters, 3 & 4 will be the mids, and 7 & 8 are the subs.

The output screen is where you set output levels, crossover config, and time alignment.

Here is what the crossover config looks like.  I have channel 8 linked to channel 7 so they will have the same config.  I have my crossover set at 100 Hz with a 24 db/octave butterworth filter, the high pass (subsonic) filter is at 28 Hz, also with a 24 db/octave butterworth filter.  These are just starting points, I'm sure I'll change them down the road.

Well after sitting on my new Fi sub for about four months, I finally got some time to build an enclosure for it.    The box specs are pretty basic, is a ported enclosure with 3 cu ft of net airspace, tuned to about 30 hz, with about 50 sq in of port area.  The layout is a bit more complex though.  I don't want to give anything away, you will just have to watch as it takes shape.  Here are some pics of my progress so far.

Here is some more progress.  I used the CNC to cutout and engrave several panels on this project.  Most of the material is Home Depot pine plywood, the panels that I CNC cut are baltic birch since I'm going to be staining them.
