DC level 3 12" box design help Joe X

Recommended Posts

I have been playing with the torres box build for this box and it seems ok but I wanted your advise. DC recommends 1.25 net and not bigger than 1.50
I will be running it off 1200w

The box should not be more than 23 long 14.5 deep  height can be what it needs to be. Thank you

If you don't want to be peaky the 1.25-1.5 net range is fine, raw port area of 25 square inches should be enough in that box size range and 1200W of power with a mid 30s tuning. Anyways, if you want a little more box efficiency and get slightly peaky 1.75 net would work well. Any issues with a current box you are looking to replace?

Not replacing a box I am going from a M3-8 to the level 3 12.
Any chance you could do a design? Thank you Joe

I would like to stay in the 1.25-1.50 range. Again the depth of the box is 14.5 the length is 22 and height can be what it needs to be.

Thanks

Torres is giving me trouble. Hard to get everything to line up.

Just an update, I built the box that Joe designed for me and it sounds real good. Here are some pics of the build. Thanks again Joe
