CarbonWarrior
Then I had to rebuild the sub cause the owner decided to go "all knobs right" a few too many times... Changed up the color scheme... used a different coil, spiders, and cone. Now she BEATS!!! And, has taken everything the owner has thrown at her. CarbonWarrior
Here's a 15" HCCA I rebuilt. Not a lot of pics... I was busy doing a million things at once, and didn't get many snaps. PITA to build, since the HCCA 15 is oversized... almost as much of a pain as the JL8W7's I did... smh!!! LOVE this blue... and, with the pearl white, I just couldn't find a dustcap in my "stockpile" that did it justice... so, I very carefully sprayed one of my other cf dustcaps with the pearl white... think it came out alright! :-)
CarbonWarrior
Loved the blue on that basket so much that I decided to take my other HCCA basket I had around... and do a 400 oz. motor transplant, turning it into a true "Lows beast" with a single spider on a 3" 8 layer coil and some more custom paint and a Genesis dustcap. CarbonWarrior
Built this crazy frickin nutso 10 incher with a 400 oz motor and a TI basket. This was my first "for real" build of a subwoofer from parts... and, I wanted it to be the baddest thing around. Goal with it was a 145, and it did a 143.9 right out of the gate... not too shabby.
