bcpballer64
Fuck, the way those subs look they should all be acrylic enclosures, then you got and bust out some sick wood working and it's like well fuck don't stop building those Maybe you need windows in all of your boxes to retain the workmanship in the enclosure and show off the sub lol "The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- (Thomas Jefferson)

I've rebuilt it about 4 times... and, each time it gets nastier. For a single 10, it does some serious work!!! 5 hours ago, tboorn said: man aweosme work. so many random crazy custom subs. great work Thanks so much. I love trying all kinds of new stuff. Yeah... windowed enclosures are awesome... but, then you have to deal with the fact that you have to make the inside as pretty as you make the outside. It adds a whole nother layer to how much work you have to do. I'll make a few one of these days... the last windowed box I did was a LOOONNNG time ago... and, it took me almost 2 weeks til I was happy with the box before I could finally call it "Complete". boomintahoe
Def got skills. Like the colorfulness in these threads. Not everyday you see multicolor subs.
CarbonWarrior
A cool little enclosure I did for a pair of RE Audio 8's in a Scion TC.
CarbonWarrior
I had paid to have Paul Pierce build me a sub a while back... and, it fell apart within about 5 minutes of getting its first dose of power. So, I decided to rebuild it and put it in a little simple box. Glad I did... this thing puts in some SERIOUS work!!!

That was the choice of the chick I built it for. I spent probably 4 hours sanding it and polishing it to get it to shine like I wanted, and when she sent me pics of it a week later.... I was like... CarbonWarrior
Here's just a bunch of random subs I've worked on or repaired... not really "builds" per-say. Like a pair of Alpine TypeR 12's that needed some love... Got the rebuilds straight from Springfield Speaker Co. Some MTX 8500's that needed a new lease on life... I gave them a new basket and some other "massage therapy" Had 3 JL8W7's that needed some love... and, these damn things proved to be the MOST DIFFICULT speakers to repair I've EVER done! More fabrication and adaptation than any other... SMH!!! Or this Eclipse TI-15 that the owner simply wanted built as a Dual 2 ohm, as opposed to the D4 that it was. Trust me... tearing apart a pristine TI was NOT my idea! SMH yet again!!! This FI UFO BTL 12 was a bit of fun... got to use a CF cone and a wide rubber Butyl surround... 2 of my favorite components. A standard ol Alpine TypeR 12 that just needed a new dish... since the old plastic one had cracked. Gave it some love... Gave a JBL GTI12 a new cone, surround and dustcap... An old school JL 15W6 needed a new surround and spider... That was a quite delicate operation, since I didnt wanna lose the original cone and dustcap, and the coil was good too... came out nice though. Finally, A pair of DC Lvl4 12's that needed some love... And I gave my touch to
