THE BASS LOVER
So I had bought a Crown XLS 1502 and I have low output when using it with my yamaha receiver it's too low to enjoy it without making it sound like the gain is too high if you know what I mean by that the noise you hear when gain is too high and not enough sound is there a way I will be able to bring it up by alot so I can play really loud and sound clean? But here's the really weird part I have a crown xli 800 that i've been using for almost a year now and it is way louder on the same yamaha receiver they are both on .775 sensitivity but crown claims that the xls 1502 has 350 @ 8 ohms, 525 @ 4 ohms, 775 @ 2 ohms, well I don't think that is true not even close I had to have it half way just to get some sound when using it connected directly to my computer using rca I think there's either something wrong with the amp or it's a really bad design? ShadeTreeMechanic
Do a search for balanced and unbalanced signals. Your source has an unbalanced output and some amps can take either type. Some amps need a balanced input. You can buy a converter to take the signal either way. https://www.parts-express.com/rolls-mb15b-promatch-balanced-unbalanced-converter-35mm-rca-xlr--245-1062 I hope the link works. I am doing this on my stupid smart phone. This is what some people use. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
