patman
Back in my day if you had a 2 ohm load and a 2 channel amp BRIDGED the amp would see a 1 ohm load.Is it the same with mono block amps?Or will the mono block see the true 2 ohm load?Just trying to figure out how to wire my new sub with a mono block amp (SA-10 D4).So I guess if I wire it in parallel on a mono block amp will it be a 2 ohm load?Or a 1 ohm load? zack_e89
I think you can wire to 2 ohms with a dual 4 woofer, if that's what you're asking. reedal
The monoblock has a pair of inputs (which is what I assume sparked your question), but they're internally paralleled, so if you connect a 2ohm load, the amp sees 2ohm.
