Took out the rear batteries, amp, part of the floor, and the box. 

 

Just wanted to check what the batteries were individually floating at. 

It was reading at 12.3 and then I took about an hour after disconnecting everything. Went up to 12.4-12.5 and settled out. 

Cold weather getting to the XS ❄️

Wouldn't mind replacing the D3400 with Northstars group 34 but with that money I'd rather buy another bank of caps

Hate this stupid rims but it is what it is

Got er jacked up a full 2-3 inches woohoo 

Adding some more grounds. Real frame grounds this time. 

 

Picked this up from Lowes for $45. 

Still don't know if it was worth it but it did work but maybe not $45 worth... 

Not sure why but I couldn't get it to make nice circles. 

They are big enough for the wire so I guess that's all that matters.

So this thing started leaking some of its fluids. Still works fine its just a bit of a mess to use now. 

Don't have any of the copper lugs sadly. 

These still work and crimp fine, just makes for those little top and bottom pieces.

Added a run to the existing grounds I had so everything is connected not just through the battery terminals. 

 

 

Everything posted today was done today. 

Probably still going to go back out and put the batteries back in and connect the new grounds. 

I think that will be it for under the car.

 

Caps shipped today, they are on track to be delivered on the 4th. 

I'm on break until the 10th but plan on having everything done by Friday. Lots more pictures and updates to come guys!

Nice job Mitchaford..all loomed and tidy. Are you tying in the rear bank with the caps or going with caps only? Tuned

Caps and batteries for this build. It's my only car and my daily so want to keep it simple-ish. 

Im ordering another bank of caps once tax season does its thing.

Still gotta clean it up a bit but at least everything's on there.

So the clamp meter came in today

But I cannot get it to read my output from the alt or any positive run. 

I put it on the DC current setting. Zero it out. Clamp it on ONE wire but it doesn't read right. Its bouncing all over the place but reading super low. 10 amps, 13 amps, 5 amps. its not reading right. 

Feel like I'm doing something wrong but the manual said to just zero it out and clamp it on. ?

I'll try and figure it out by tomorrow. 

Caps come in tomorrow so everything should  be done by tomorrow  (except the new dash, its giving me trouble -___- )
