I like it. And who cares if you dont know exactly what your doing,  or are new to it. Create, adapt, overcome. Push through.

Im down on your willingness to try. Look up, search, read, investigate for what you want/need. Gold star from me.

Your going to love having an amplified front stage. Night and day difference from using deck power.

Good stuff,... stay at it. Grow, learn, do, make mistakes, do again, celebrate success,..........  Dig it.

Nice man. I'm a total noob too and have been hanging around and learning. I lack the confidence of figuring this stuff out but THIS thread is actually quite inspiring. Thanks and keep up the good work bud.

With the RIGHT tools man, and careful planning, its not too hard. The hardest thing about being a noob is the time it takes to figure out each step. But once u do it a few times it gets alot more natual and easy. You know how scared i was to use a router table and jigsaw for the first time during this build lmao? Now im alright with it. Good plans make for better work when ur a noob, when ur a pro you can freestyle like Mark, Steve and Doug do. Thanks for the kind words bro.

Shit. I used to think you were stupid and annoying.

I'm sure other members probably think that about me too.

Maybe that was true a while back, maybe it wasn't - but this is some seriously good fucking work dude. Like, straight up. Be proud as shit of that, I'm about to start my first build and I have an entire machine shop at my disposal, doubt it will be as good as this.

Next thing you might be interested in making if you don't have a solution already is a shop-vac to funnel bucket dust collection system. Rig it all up with quick clamps or something. CAF has a good video I believe.

Lol i know i irrate some people. Its all good tho, not everyones gonna like you. Thanks man, i appreicate it. Post up your build when you get started.

Yah i need to get one of those dust devil collection systems, my lil shopvac bag is almost full.

I'm digging the doors man.  And totally on board with the idea that the mids may sound better mounted firmly in a deadened door rather than a door panel.  I recently did a set of wooden door pods without using fiberglass.  I really like that plastic pod you're whipping up.  Good work.

Let the adapters dry for a few days, mounting the speakers into them today. I really like being able to see thru the tube to see the push terminals. I can see/check that connection without having to remove the speaker or adapte from the door.

Then mounting the adapter to the door.RenderedContent-96406B56-7DD3-48F2-86AE-A1EDF0DC317D.thumb.JPG.51903fbe807d76a7f8b81af267feaba8.JPGRenderedContent-66055458-A3C3-4117-B6F6-16E16B18B1DD.thumb.JPG.c7de4bf5cc26e4d6b7cd51722547c2a3.JPGRenderedContent-2DBE05A6-C054-4B16-A234-8C95F78C50A6.thumb.JPG.66d27200ffe1f41ef9743498bc2b73ad.JPG

Now mounting the speaker to it all. Perfect. Didnt turn out to being as on axis as i thought it would be but i like it. It should make some sort of difference rather than being pointed directly at my ankles. Also again you can see the push terminals clearly even when its all mounted up.

Alright that'll be it for a while. Gonna be secondskinning the entire car. I probably wont post pics till im done deadening then ill post all the pics of it at once. Installing DampPro, LuxurylinePro, Heatwave pro, i also got some of that overkill foam to put between plastic or any moving parts to eliminate their rattles. Doing the trunk right now, then floors, then doors, then roof. By the looks of how much ive used up already on my trunk....i might need to order more but we'll see. Yes i know you dont need %100 coverage, just need to lay some on the flat areas. Im an overkill type of person if you havent realised by now lol. So the build log will be on break for a while till im done deadening. Thank you everyone for the postive feed back, making me feel like im doing good for a noob and giving me crazy motivation, i appreciate it.

Laters!

Most of those that are new and come with constant questions get put through the wringer a bit, that's normal and expected all over the internet. The difference with this build is that you are actually taking in much of the info you were given and really maxing it out, along with pushing your skill level and trying to do everything right the first time around.

Well done. Will watch for more.

Static drops are my bag.

Nice equipment! Great install techniques and attention to detail. Keeping on this path you should have one hell of a system when finished. Tuned in for more.

All front stage speaker wires done, just waiting for my 10awg ferrules for the 8s. Black techflex with single spiral stripe of either Red Yellow or Green for the three front stage speakers, green mid bass, yellow mid range, red highs and used the purple stripe for the ends where the wire splits into two. Then for my sub speaker wires ill be using that black techflex that has all three stripes on it, red yellow green on the black. Love the roots reggae music.
