06RTCharger
Next is the PAC harness for the P99RS only wires i used into the PAC is constant 12v, switched12v, ground, remote turn on and data communication(i believe the pink wires is how the modules relay information) Only wires for the P99RS harness i kept is the constant12v, switched 12v, ground and remote turn on. Pac harness plugs into to the factory stereo harness, all i kept on that pac harness plug is the constant 12Vs, grounds and data communications. Thats where the turn on (accessory) signal is coming from. My extensions for the harness, so it can be ran to the trunk and connect directly to the battery and the remote turn ons can go to a relay in the back too. QUESTION!? Its ok to connect my headunit directly to the battery right, because the battery wire on the harness is fused? Ill just fuse it at the trunk also. 06RTCharger
Harness done, before i did all this i plugged it in and connected to right to the battery to see if the pink wires would give the headunit a turn on, and it did.
06RTCharger
Just applying the techflex to this long heavyish 1/0 took FOREVER, having to shimmy/snake it up. These will be cut to length for all the amps to the distro blocks Found out i wont even be needing one of those power/ground blocks. Because the ANL distro block is also the power distro *face palm* smh

06RTCharger
I Thought the 1/0 was hard to deal with and cover with techflex, look at it next to the 4/0......yup not fun.

Lol well these Charger build pics are older, im just finally putting them up. I wanted to wait till i completed the wire runs front to back and put the interior back in, but figure id update the BL now. I should be able to finish all that wire runs and reinstall the interior before i go back to work tuesday. Just hoping this weather will stay dry during the day time. BobbyG2
Looking great man! Yes, hooking the constant 12v for the HU directly to the battery is fine, as long as you fuse it as close to the battery as possible (same with any other power wire) Why don't you just tap into the fuse box, though? Should be easier. *New vehicle and system coming soon.*
