WalledSonic
20% up front and 5% (limo) in the rear 5% on the backglass too. Not too dark, I can hold a flashlight to the window at night and can still check for leaks. But you cant see thru it otherwise. Keep in mind the box is painted pure white under that tint. Dont need the rear glass defroster anymore. So I wired the leads from the defroster to a switched relay for the lights. Keeps the dash looking clean Window down This is with window up and limo tint (5%) Chevy Sonic Wall (4) 15's on 10k Build Log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/209412-2015-chevy-sonicwall4-15s10klithiumlarge-case-hairpin-us-alts/ (4) Fi SP4 15's | (2) Ampere 5Ks | Active! | Arc KS600.2 & KS125.2mini | CDT Silk Domes | Silver Flute 8s | 240Ah JY | US Alts Jeep Wrangler JK (4) 8's in a 4th Order Build Log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/209841-shadow-2016-jeep-wrangler-jk4th-order4-8sdc-35klarge-case-hairpin-us-alts/ IG @walledsonic

major dead
Man this build is sweet. And that window idea is awesome. How do you like the ampere 5k's? that was one of the amps I was looking at getting.

How do you like the ampere 5k's? that was one of the amps I was looking at getting. Thanks man. I cant complain about these Amperes. At all. Theyre gain and phase matched, seen them on the scope and wave looks clean (see previous post). Been running them at 1/3 ohm since Thanksgiving and they dont get hot (granted theyre at the back window), they dont thermal protect, and they just keep delivering. I beat the shit out of this system at least 45 minutes a day, sometimes more, and they just keep on keepin on. Bang for the buck, they beat the other Korean boards in terms of cost. Cant argue with a $1200 price tag when the other guys are usually $1500-1800 for the same performance. DC, Sundown, and Digital Designs all have SLIGHTLY better internal components (CapXon and Samwha are slightly better quality caps than Samyoung), but does it matter when you get reliable output? I’m jelly man...when you start an ambitious project like this do you picture what you want it to look like or do you create as you go? and for you and the other guys, what do you do for a living cause these builds costs some serious coin ? this build is a BEAST! I’m digging it man...AWESOME job!! Thanks man. First big build and definitely built along the way. Never imagined it would turn out like this, at all. But as you learn more... your ambition grows huh? Lol. Theres regrets; i wish i had fatter & longer driver side port and more volume per sub, but next build/vehicle will be better. CHEAP CHASSIS. $190/month car note. 22/29mpg full tilt loaded. And if something breaks, its cheap as shit bc its a Sonic. But, I've had to do major weld repairs bc its a cheap chassis. Still worth it. Also, this has taken 2+ years to get here Chevy Sonic Wall (4) 15's on 10k Build Log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/209412-2015-chevy-sonicwall4-15s10klithiumlarge-case-hairpin-us-alts/ (4) Fi SP4 15's | (2) Ampere 5Ks | Active! | Arc KS600.2 & KS125.2mini | CDT Silk Domes | Silver Flute 8s | 240Ah JY | US Alts Jeep Wrangler JK (4) 8's in a 4th Order Build Log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/209841-shadow-2016-jeep-wrangler-jk4th-order4-8sdc-35klarge-case-hairpin-us-alts/ IG @walledsonic
