Meter for measuring power coming from home theater amplifier.

Recommended Posts

Is there a type of voltage/ wattage meter for measuring volts watts for a home theater amplifier that would give a live reading of the voltage and wattage and amps so I can see in real time what my amplifier is putting out?

What are you really looking for?

There are just so many factors in home theaters, but if your concerned about output, it means you do not have enough with a question like you are asking.

EDIT: You either want an AMM-1/AD-1 or VU meters?

That's not exactly what I'm looking for?

how is it not? the AMM-1 is the exact answer to your question, plus you get the added benefit of it's other options and capabilities. The AMM-1 IS able to tell you REAL TIME power time out, at any given time that you have it properly connected to the amplifier you want to measure, be it car audio or home audio.
