running 2 sa 12s in a box tuned to 34 hz but it dies off at like 28hz and it is loudest around 40

I had one SA 15 in a ported box in the trunk of my bonneville tuned to 34 hz and youre right the lows were shat below about 30-28. Stick with your two 12s just build a lower tuned box and/or 4th order. you want lows? do a 4th order with the port tuned to about 35 and the lows will be nuts! Not near as much upper bandwidth obviously though!

You will most likely be better off with two 12"s vs one 15".

What are the specs of the box?  Net volume and port area?
How much power are you running?

Net volume 4cuft port area is around 65sqin running 2k on good electrical
