So I've installed new Morel Tempo Ultra 6.5 components (rated at 120 rms each), wired to a Rockford Fosgate r300-4 amp (75 rms x4)
and for some annoying reason when i reach a relatively high volume the tweeters go all out on distortion and i dont know if Morel's arent actually good or my setup is just a mess ... help anyone?

How did you determine how much you can turn up the volume? How did you determine the gain setting?

What about other settings? Crossover, boosts, etc?

Your amp probably doesn't have enough power to play at that high level you are looking for. Learn how to set the gain correctly and bridge the amp to two channels for more power.

Id guess its ur settings/setup. Hopefully nothing is damaged, try to take it to someone that knows how to set all the settings, or take the time to read up on how to do it urself. Lots of info around here or just a quick google search.

yeah luckily nothing is damaged, i got the gains down a little until i finish saving up for new subs and amps ;) thanks for the reply buddy
