bubbaccb
I have 4 extra re xxx component mids sitting around and I’d like to make a subwoofer out of them. I want to use all 4 with 2 pairs in isobaric style. I will use two separate sealed enclosures and share a ported enclosure. My question is would it work to tune the sealed boxes to the manufacture spec which ends up around 60hz f3 and then tune the larger (2:1) ported enclosure to something like 35? MADVIBES
I think the best sounding bandpasses use that style design like you are thinking. I might increase the port area a little though over the factory specs.
