Psikotik247
Ok well this may be opening a can of worms but does it do rated power and how does that compare to amps from like hifonics, planet audio, skar audio, or sundown and stuff like that? Wishuponasub
Lol. Hifonics is opening a can of worms. Planet audio sucks. Skar, Sundown. Things of that nature are good. But yes Twisted Sounds is a decent amp. But you can look at some others such as skar, sundown,dc,soundqubed, ampere, the list goes on. Mr DeeBeez
If you are on a very tight budget, skar is decent. I had a skar lp1000.1. Wired at 1 ohm, I clamped 848watts. For $129 new you can't really go wrong there. Or, the SoundQubed 1200.1 is a bit more powerful, and is $269 new. Can find for around 150-175 used. Both would be good budget amps Fi Team 18's (4) Crossfire 16k Crossfire 400.4 & 800.4 Pioneer AVH-X491bhs 140ah cmax CES 320's (2)
SkarredSierra
pioneer has a 1200 watt monoblock also that steve dynoed that did rated power. U can get them for like 170 new. Also i have a skar lp1000.1 and the matching lp60.4. Both are great amps. Had them about a year now with no issues and sound great.
Psikotik247
How about the skar rp series amps for the price if they are decent then that would be a good deal. Or how about the skar sk mini series amp line anyone have any ideas about those two lines?
Mr DeeBeez
I havent clamped the one I have yet, But I like mine. I had the LP1000 and clamped about 850w. Then put in an RP2000 and it got quite a bit louder. gained about 2db's. Didn't clamp it tho to see what power it was putting out. But I know a good amount of people who have used them and like them as well. Good amps for the money. Psikotik247
Alright cool I think I actually just decided on my system then. 2 DC audio lvl 3s they are rated at 900 rms and the rp2000 from skar. I do know that the DC's can handle more power though would that to be enough?
Wishuponasub
Yeah it would be enough. They rate their subs for a reason. People who push the limits generally know what their equipment is capable of or the ones who don't just blow their stuff lol. That 2k will get those DCs moving nicely. If you can start a build log. Everyone would love to see your install.
