06RTCharger
Where ever u decide to ground, besure to scrape down to bare metal then use some kind of protectant over it after ur ground is bolted down. Something like dielectric grease would work or something similar to protect from corrosion.

If you use a multimeter and check the resistance between that seat bolt and the battery, you’ll see its probably got alot of resistance. Not a good situation to have. Get a cheap reliable multimeter and find a better spot on ur vehicle. There's a bolt that's not part of the seat but is under it sort of. I used a volt meter like you said and found little resistance from my power wire to the ground and that's what I've been using to ground my amp. But yeah like you said most seat bolts are terrible grounds, so I'll make sure to double check with volt meter. Jonathan Mills
Manufactures don't like people using factor fasteners as amp grounds because of safety and this is especially true when speaking of seat belts. They are more than adequate for grounding but for safety purposes nobody wants you to touch shit.

I will agree with that one...... just tell people you use the seat belt bolt as all of your grounds
