Critique my design/help with port

Hey guys, I plan on building my first box for an SA12 d4. I will be powering it off an NVX 750rmw 2 ohm amp. I first found the RE calculator, but heard it was often off a few Hz, so I decided to use Torres' program. I the external dimensions I am considering is 30" wide (can go up to 34), 11" deep (would prefer not to go any deeper than 18"), and 15" tall which is my limit. I want to tune to 35Hz and volume of 1.89 (1.75 recommended + 0.14ft^3 sub displacement). I like the simplicity of the L-slot from the RE site and am confident I can build that design.

Here is a screenshot of my results with Torres.

These are my results after inputting the same dimensions from Torres.

I am a little confused on the port length of 13", can I use any combination of segments to make my L port? For example can I have a piece that is 10" and one that is 3"? Or one 6" and one 7"? I am open to suggestions on volume, hz, size, etc. I listen to mostly rock/metal with some occasional dubstep. I drive a 17 wrx.

Also on sundown's site, they have predone enclosure designs for subs, including a single SA 12.

take out diameter on torres its used for round ports

it can change your tuning i believe

I found on a forum that a slot port should be converted to an equivalent round port diameter (take area of square port and divide by pi). Otherwise, the field would be 0. "Number of ports" x 0 =0, so I need a value here

but that is why your port is "too complicated to design"

nvm forgot it does that once the port curves

I saw the design on their website, but would prefer to go wider and shallower. I will keep playing around with designs to try and stay around the 25in^2 and will post an updated design. Thanks for the tip!

Im saying, you can use those dimensions, like port area and length, and restructure the overall dimensions to meet those parameters (main thing is getting port area to sufficient size and well as proper volume). Regardless of box size (cubic, or rectangular, or whatever), if you keep the same port area, port length, and volume, the tuning will be the same.

btw  number of ports combines width and height and diameter and goes down the middle on tuning this is weird

just wanna make sure on accuracy
