I need advice, I have a kinetic hc2400 in my trunk that needs to be charged. Not too long ago I moved, ( because of hurricane Harvey) to an new apartment complex and the only apartment  they had was on the third floor and there is no balcony so there no way for me to charge it without showing everyone what's in my trunk . is there something i can do or buy to help me with this problem, a while back I unhooked it and took it a local audio shop the guys were cool enough to charge it for me but I cant keep asking them to charge it.

my ctek 7002 has detachable leads, I use the leads with the ring termals on my Harley. ring terminals stay on the battery, I tuck the plug away when not in use, and then while I'm home I plug it in. since you're in an apartment, that's an option for you if you have a power source close to your car in order to plug the charger in. you'll just have to wait and watch it charge to make sure no one steals your charger.

Otherwise, just get used to the fact you'll have to take it out and put it back anytime you want to charge it with something besides your alternator.

Thanks for the reply but I did not mean i take it out to charge it, i have no way to charge it period, and i mean like a good overnight charge like you would if you had a garage not a couple hours charge thats not enough,i looked around and theres no outside power source. I have not put it back in the trunk since i got the guys at the shop to charge it for me, i dont want to put a load on it knowing later on i have no way of charging it and let the voltage go down faster. i like the ctek i may get one soon but i dont have power source to plug it in thats my problem.

Not sure what kind of answer you're looking for sir, you just said you dont have an accessible power plug.  Get more alternator power and you wont need to charge them on 120V anymore.

Thats interesting.  Do you have a model number or a wattage on the panel?

Coleman CL-100 72000 1.5-Watt 15-Volt Solar Panel Battery Trickle Charger

https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-CL-100-1-5-Watt-15-Volt-Battery/dp/B000CPA670/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1511022667&sr=1-3&keywords=car+solar+battery+charger+coleman

$15

This is what I use. Some of the reviews are really low from Amazon. I bought mine from Lowe's when they were being discontinued and got 4 of them for $12 each. I put them in any vehicle that doesn't get driven daily and one on my big tractor too (Case 990). The bass hasn't killed it yet and I know the suction cups look cheesy, it would be cool to build one flush mount into the dash. You can get bigger ones but then you have to find a place to put it. I am sure there are better quality ones, but for $15 it might be an easy way to see if it helps.
