Bim.soul
My amplifier input sensitivity goes from 150mv-4v and when I measure my head unit and equalizer with dd1 it's clean and putting out around 8v pre amp. Will it damage my amp since the preamp is so high?
alex912005
If the preamp voltage is too high just don't use the headunit's max volume. If you have 8v going into the amp, and if the gain is set for 4v, then you will be clipping theoretically. My Build Log
ShadeTreeMechanic
Set the amp up with the dd1. Adjust head unit volume so the amp is clean. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
