Antoni Čović Posted November 22, 2017 Report Share Posted November 22, 2017 Hello, I have Fi Q15 and Hertz Dsk 165 speakers.. and Fi is way louder then them.. well with normal music a little but with Bass music there is almost no sound haha.. I just got alpines tweeter and not impressed.. I'm thinking about Pro mids.. Does someone have some recommendation? Pro mid + alpine type r tweeter in parallel ? reedal Posted December 2, 2017 Report Share Posted December 2, 2017 what is your goal with your speakers? just to hear them over your sub? how do you have your current DSK's wired? one per channel? you could very likely bridge that amp at 2ohm, getting more power from the amp to the speakers as long as you're not clipping the signal going to the speakers, and have much better output from them. their location is another issue to tackle. speakers blocked by your legs, seat, etc. will have a harder time being heard than when they're aiming towards the dash or directly at you. there's no sense in throwing money into new speakers until you've exhausted all of your options of making the ones you have work.
