I'm going to be invert mounting the sub and the neo motor looks awesome, so to me that's worth the extra $100. Oh what is the reason behind that?? - I thought neo presents a higher flux so it would offer more force and control? Trying to get my sub ordered today ahha and yeah man those motors look other worldly.. even if its not their so called "ufo" motor. 2017 F-150 3.5L Screw EcoBoost XLT Sport - Factory HU + Lc7i + Zapco I-4100 + Morel Tempo + SQ 2250 + Fi SSD Neo

Neo is a stronger magnet than ferrite, but generally neo subs use a lot less of it. Just because a sub has a neo motor doesn't mean that motor is stronger than its corresponding ferrite motor is. Also, more motor force isn't always better. This appears to be the case with the SSD series, the ferrite version has a higher BL and lower QES, indicating a stronger motor. For what I want to use the sub for the weaker neo motor is actually more desirable to me though.
