wiring and matching amps, how correct is this video

I've been watching this video and mostly everything this guy has said in this video make sense to me.  currently i have 4 crescendo bc2000d 2 pair are strapped and set with smd dd1 and cc1. i might just sell my amps to get two bigger amps and follow the guidelines of this video. and i might pick up an oscope to get a better view of my signal... does anybody else have set up like this... sorry for the long video but there is so much info in this video

Check all amps with the DD-1 and with a multimeter.  Lets say (for sake of discussion) that your amps clip at: 

1) 50.1V

2) 49.8V

3) 50.3V

4) 50.2V

Since Amp #2 clips at a lower voltage, set all your amps at 49.8V (or slightly less).  Now you have gain matched your amps below the clip point and they will all send out the same sine wave amplitude.  Easy peezy

Dude has excellent amp repair videos, but Im at work so I didnt watch this video.  Apologies that the advice wasnt relevant to your thread topic.

Yes, there is total validity to this vid. I have tried it and implemented it. 

When matching the gain, you might as well use a DMM on all 4 amps, but for phase, unless you have a dual channel oscilliscope, his method will work.

@zoeboi954 watched the video, good stuff.  I really wish he wouldve shown the results on the O-scope at the end to prove how well his method works, but it makes sense.  I want to try this soon and borrow my buddy's o-scope to make a thread showing results.

Been more than one that's done this. Showed no gain at all on meter, and only works wired a certain way. Still a neat vid tho. 

Also, never been a fan of strapping. Hate it.  Always have.
