meade916
As i start to piece together my system choices for my 2015 Cadillac Escalade, one thing that has to be taken into consideration is factory integration. Obviously i am not going to rip out the dash and put a Kenwood deck in the Escalade. I can tap into the rear amplifier and "normalize" the signal with a separate processor. But that requires cutting cables. For about a month i have been eyeballing this unit. I almost didn't buy it because i don't know anyone really who know's much about it. But my old friend Ray chimed in on FB 3 minutes after i chose something else. He said it is THE solution for my ride. No if's ands or but's about it. Normally i don't pay attention to the average person on FB. 10 times out of 10 they don't have any experience other than google or youtube (or another forum). But Ray is different. If he swears by something, i am all ears. So here we go. I got the M650-GM by Nav-TV. It is plug and play. Unplug the factory screen. Plug this in. Plug the screen into the Nav-Tv harness. Done! Every output you can imagine is on it including coaxial AND optical. This thing retains all the Onstar, door chime, cell phone and everything else you STILL need when you go after market with the rest of the system. I have plans to send a long optical cable out to a JL Audio TWK-88 and then from there to the not yet chosen amplifiers. I won't be able to get to this until i am 100% finished with the Escalade turbo install we are currently doing. But here is the pics of the NavTV unit. Check out their page in the mean time for more info and also if they have a solution for your car too! http://www.navtv.com Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! MrSkippyJ
Hope that works out, if Ray said so then there is no reason to doubt it. I got lucky enough he worked near me that he built the box for my last truck. One of loudest and cleanest set ups I have ever had.
