kia soul head unit replacement

77-AUDIO

Recommended Posts

So I have been looking at replacing my factory radio with a new one. and they make a couple that look like the factory one.

1 is a pyle sku pkiasoul14 here https://www.ebay.com/i/262723245547?chn=ps

2 is a android multimedia unit.  here https://www.ebay.com/i/162767105218?chn=ps

both look almost alike but are priced diff.  skeptical of the pyle unit.  and both claim they are plug and play and retain the steering wheel controls.

opinions please

yeah i know about that, but want to keep the factory look.

edit,

I don't like the current navigation /dvd head units on the market.  nor do I want it to look like an aftermarket install.

double din head unit i do like are 600+, then you need a wiring harness, radio bracket, a pac swi

with all that you are almost 1k into the new radio.  plus the time to program the swi, and then make sure that the hu also sits right in the bracket so it looks good and still opens.

and then you have to pay for updates on maps.  jvc i know for sure.
