The Dual DA301L is another micro sized subwoofer amp we just had to get and test. This one is a powerful contender rated to deliver 150x1 at 4 ohms or 350x1 at 2 ohms. It is also Made in Korea (not China) and has extra features such as a variable subsonic filter and bass boost. These tiny amps are perfect for motorcycles, ATV's, side-by-sides and even cars. The small size makes them really easy to hide and they don't stress your electrical system too much.

Let's try out this mini amp on the Dyno and see how it performs!

SMD technology FTW!

Wait what? LOL

Impressed by the 1 ohm test, wonder how long it would hold up at that load?

edit - You mentioned it making some noise, what would be doing that?

Since I'm able to test with near silence in my lab, I hear the sounds amps make when they stress. It's usually a squealing or crackling sound when an amp is stressed. This one was squealing like a pig at it's limits. It's also cool to hear the 1kHz tone resonating from the amp's I test at that frequency.

That last 1ohm test was extremely suprising actually, even though it probably wouldnt last long doing it. Almost puts out as much power as their bigger amps lol

I want to watch a video of it running at 1 ohm for an extended period to see if A) it will keep running and B ) just how hot will it get?  That's pretty crazy if it can sustain that somehow.  I suspect not for very long though.
