Kenwood excelon 9140 setting

I have 2 Soundqubed HDC4 15s on 2 Soundqubed 4500 strapped. Front and Rear Soundqubed 6.5 components on a Soundqubed 120.4. Trying to set my Kenwood double din built in eq. Right now I have my eq custom setting: 

  1. 62.5@-7
  2. 100@-6
  3. 160@-6
  4. 250@-6
  5. 400@-6
  6. 630@-3
  7. 1k@0
  8. 1.6k@+1
  9. 2.5k@+2
  10. 4k@+3
  11. 6.3k@+4
  12. 10k@+5
  13. 16k@+6

Something could be wrong if youre tweaking your mids and bass down so much and your highs up that much. Just my opinion of course, but if you have a good set of speakers then you shouldnt have to EQ that drastically.

Like others said, to each his own. Set gains and such before the EQ. If you have enough power going to your speakers, you wont need to do much on the EQ other than filling gaps, perfecting, touching up on the details.

After my components were broke in, I found out that a flat eq sounds best. Bang on them some more. They should get better.
