Gene671
Hello everyone! I recently bought a sundown audio x12 v2 D2, sundowns website recommends 32hz. But my question is what's the best frequency for more spl out of this sub? I've read that people do 45-50hz and also read that people do 28-30hz, so which is best for a PORTED enclosure? Vehicle: 2016 Hyundai accent sedan(completely stock electrical system) Amp: Hifonics BRZ1700.1 (I'll be running the sub at 1ohm as well)
Triticum Agricolam
Tuning higher will get you a higher peak SPL in most cases, but you will lose your ability to play the lows. Everything is a trade off. There isn't one "best" tuning frequency, it all depends on what your goals are, what kind of music you listen to, etc. "Nothing prevents people from knowing the truth more than the belief they already know it.""Making bass is easy, making music is the hard part."Builds:
