Wishuponasub
So Saturday morning it was pouring down rain all morning and then I went to Monster Jam in Houston. Sunday it was a little more chilly than I wanted to apply the Damplifier so I didn't touch the car. I got tunnel vision lol on trying to get the headliner back up before I have to go to work. It hit me today that there is other shit I could be doing lol. So it's not much but I needed to see if this was gonna fit. Out with the old Excuse my dirty ass toes. I told you it was raining. In with the new(well the D3400 Out of my truck) I don't necessarily need 9 spot terminals but I may in the future so that's one less thing I would have to change. While I had to change the termials I went ahead and stole a ground from my truck to replace the batt to frame while I was there. This is not a permanent setup but I wanted to know if the 3400 was gonna fit. Tomorrow it should be high 60s low 70s so I should be able to deaden the roof. Wishuponasub
So while the wife is away picking up paint for the room I am remodeling in anticipation of our granddaughter I snuck this in.... You can see the pl3x there but here's another pic I have to go get a connection for the rubber hose I had to cut to get the headliner down then I'll put it back up and things can get moving along quicker. Battling that headliner sucks. The hose is for the washer fluid to the hatch wiper. bcbrassard
My headliner was a bit easier but i had to take everything out to do it just once. Just wish i had used a damp pro like product for better deadening.

Wishuponasub
Hell yeah. I probably should have just stripped it but it's my daily and I don't want to keep pulling it apart and reinstalling it. I waited for a sale and bought a 40lb box of B stock. I dug through and put all Damp pro on the roof. bcbrassard
I know its a challenge working on a daily driver. I try to spend a week or two every year with it down for upgrades. Keep up the good work and tuned in to see how this comes along.
Wishuponasub
So I am still working on that room. I did manage to get the headliner stabbed back in. I went and looked at the alt while paint was drying and it looked complicated lol. I got a quote on getting it changed and it was a little rich for my blood. So I googled the process and it's not to terribly bad. I've always had an older truck to work on. This is my first FWD to work on so its different to me and hella cramped. I'm going to have to pull the passenger tire off and fender well to get to the alt. I'm also gonna have to swing the AC compressor out of the way. This may be standard for FWD lo idk but I'm used to just unfolding one and bolting the new one in. I'm off again Tues so that's probably when I'll tackle this.
