conley916
So I’m converting my 6x9s in my driver/passenger doors to a 6.5 component set and I’m planning on making custom A pillars with a 3” speaker. Would pairing the tweeter from the 6.5 component set with the 3” in the A pillar sound better and leave just the 6.5 in the doors and have a 3”/tweeter in the A pillar? Or should I leave the tweeter with the 6 1/2 in the doors and the 3” by itself in the A pillar? 2015 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack audio coming soon

ckeeler11
Having tweeter and midrange in the A Pillar is the more typical setup. Keep the Midbass in the door.
bcbrassard
How much tweeter do you want? 3" tweeter? making my ears hurt. If your looking for a simple set up put the 6.5" driver in the door w/ the tweeter next to it. Other option is tweeter in the a-pillar mid-bass in the door. And the most complex is 6.5 driver in the door, 3" midrange and 1" tweeter in the A-Pillar. Research it. tons of info and pics out there.
