ncc74656 Posted April 4, 2018 Author Report Share Posted April 4, 2018 i thought about those, they are discontinued now and when i talked to my JL rep he said they probably wouldn't work out in my setup. i could do multiple but idk if going with more than one driver wouldn't complicate things too much as i want to get staging setup too. i will have 2 18" sp4's and i want a midbass that can push out similar volumes as it takes over from the subs, in my mind i think that will require 10's or even 12's in the doors for this application? maybe I'm wrong about that? nothing, gutted Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's not gonna happen. I have only one sp4 18 and 4 10 inch midbass drivers (2 per door) on a 2 x 600w rms DD SS2a amp, and they're not even close to the sub output. alex912005 Posted April 4, 2018 Report Share Posted April 4, 2018 You're gonna have to turn down your subwoofers a lot when your system is being judged for sq to get a flat response curve.
