Tunning freq. In ext cab pick ups

Ive been trying to find some info on the best tunning freq i can set my box to so i can hit the lows real good and still hit the highs decent. Ive built 3 boxes for my 95 chevy pick up. First sounded horrible. 2nd the lows were awesome but like no highs at all. 3rd the lows are kinda there and the higher freq are really loud. So idk if the truck makes the tunning off or wtf sorry if this is a dumb/weird question but i would like this to be the last time i build a box for my 18's. First box was tunned to 36 second to 34 and the last one was tunned to 30 hz. Ive been using torres also for my box making. Any info is greatly appreciated.

When I did window line boxes (like 19" deep, 20" tall, and like 50" wide, where the back seat is), I had no issue playing into the 20's and still getting 50+ hz to be loud. Would peak at 35. That was 2 HDC4 15's on a 7k in like 10cubes with 2 8" aeros (quik crete tubes) tuned to low 30's.

What have your box specs been so far? I did 3-4 window lines boxes with 2 15's or 3 15's and never had an issue with getting 30's and 40's to be loud with low end extension and even some 50's

I will say, none of these metered exceptionally well (The 2 15's and 7k was a 150.4 @ 35Hz tho)
