Best ground loop isolator?

Recommended Posts

Nust figure out why you are having a problem and fix it, dont just slap a bandaid on it and call it good.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

cheaper to fix the problem usually.

run a ground wire from your HU ground to your amp ground.

2007 Pacifica
Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

Already gave that a try no help. He has to mono sub amps in the rear and both power and ground is off the battery I say ground the amps separate but he’s not willing.

ground everything in your system to the same spot. Power it from the same spot if you can too.  Ground loop isolators are crap.

Another thing you might have an issue with is a ground from engine to battery/chassis, make sure you run a ground from the back of the alt to the battery for a direct ground to the alt.

Never use the factory grounds for your deck, the factory does a shit job at grounding things.

I threw in my mid 4ch about a year back, the night before a show and there was whine. there was no way i was pulling everything apart that night, so i threw in a pair of PAC ground loop isolators.

Yes. They worked.

But like mentioned above, fix the issue instead of throwing on a bandaid.
