GAMEFACE1778 Posted March 24, 2018 Report Share Posted March 24, 2018 just bought a 2018 subaru legacy. when hooking up my 360.3 by computer spec to speaker outputs i lose my telematics.on this model the rear speakers run straight from the head unti and the front go thru the data communications module.im grabbing signal after data communications module.i need to know why it keeps messing up the telematics. lightfoot Posted June 24, 2018 Report Share Posted June 24, 2018 the telematics system needs to see a restance on the output signal. i have done a couple of these in the past coulpe of months and the sulotion is adding a resitor between the positive and negative of both left and right signals. so left positive and negative get connected to a resistor and same goes for the right signal. i use a 10 watt 8.2 ohm 5% resistor. part number NTE10W8D2.
