Pressing brake to push the caliper back in to be in the right position?

If all you did is remove the cap, push the piston in then i would say no. I didn't see any signs of air, just fluid moving. Like i said early, i flushed my system by myself with a Gatorade bottle, clear tubing and the proper technique to trap the fluid without introducing air into the system. Brakes turned out solid as fuck. I did new bearings, hubs, rotors and pads up front. New bearings, hub, shoes and drums in the rear with 0 issues. 

I think your fine. IMO
