RTA analyzer and USB microphone for measuring AFC - USB RTA Meter(Pro Edition)
Description

The USB microphone intended for measuring the amplitude-frequency characteristic (AFC) and the harmonic distortion coefficient of an acoustic systems in the entire audible frequency range with high accuracy. The majority of the analogues use external amplifiers and ADC boards, which make considerable changes to the measured signal and require calibration. The precision analog-to-digital converter and low frequency amplifier inbuilt in USB RTA Meter allow receiving accurate values of measured signal in digitalised form on a PC or Android smartphone/tablet PC without additional calibration. The omnidirectional electret microphone inset that is used in the device has linear AFC which minimises the characteristic spread among the devices within one batch. High sensitivity of the device is achieved by using the inbuilt low frequency amplifier; lower-range value is 50 dB. A user can start work at once after the software provided in the package is installed and the USB RTA Meter is connected to a PC. The UAB microphone can also operate with any other software, which supports standard sound cards on Windows, Mac OS, Android and iOS! In spite of its low price the USB RTA Meter (Pro Edition) stood in the line-up with such distinguished systems as Audiocontrol, Behringer, Phonic, Audiomatica, etc.

Ergonomics

The USB RTA Meter (Pro Edition) USB microphone has body of anodized aluminum that contains the highly sensitive omnidirectional electret microphone inset, low frequency amplifier and ADC unit with USB port for transmitting data. In the body of the device around the microphone inset there are special notches for receiving smoother directional characteristic. The acoustically correct construction of the device allows receiving an input signal that is close as possible to the original one. If necessary the microphone can be installed on the stand.
