badandyturbo
What do you guys with multiple amps do for getting your signal wire to each amp. I know some amps have RCS outs but what if they don't? Is there another option besides RCA splitters? 2013 Tahoe PPV Pioneer XS Power Tru Technologies Digital Designs Precision Power
Crazy 8s Drums
If you are using multiple amps, a DSP (digital signal processor) may be in order. For the subwoofer amps, should you be using more than one amp to power a single channel (monoblock), your amps should have a strapping feature. If the amps don't have that, you may be using RCA splitters...which should be OK if only doing one or maybe two splits. Crazy 8s Drums
You might be needing to use a relay for the remote turn on too, as the one single wire may not be enough juice to signal 3 or more amps to turn on. badandyturbo
I am speaking about 4-channel amps for mid and highs. What if you are running two or more? 2013 Tahoe PPV Pioneer XS Power Tru Technologies Digital Designs Precision Power
Kyblack76
We split our sub out, 6 times,.... Zero issues. Ran 4 sub amps in the blazer, run 6 sub amps in the burb now. Never a issue. We use a COCK box, from Scott Bowman (if you dont know of him, in the car audio world, remove head from sand) , which is basically a real nice splitter. I refuse to strap amps, do not like doing that. Rather gain match 100 times out of 100. But, that is my preference. Here is the blazer .... 4 Ampere Audio 3800s 6 Xfire 4ks Never had any issue, no voltage drop across,... nothing. Runs tip top. Its not 1981 any more. Crazy 8s Drums
In the home audio world, we loathed using splitters. Each connection introduced some noise to the equation, more connections = more noise. This is what makes audio (in general) so much fun! So many ways to do things, and an opportunity to express creativity. Orion XTR amplifiers Skar subs
badandyturbo
Ok thanks. Someone should make a powered splitter for like 16 channels. 2013 Tahoe PPV Pioneer XS Power Tru Technologies Digital Designs Precision Power
