Starting to piece together mids and highs for a 05 Chevy Suburban...

Wanting to do 2 6.5s mids EACH front door 4 OHM

Bullet Tweeters top of A Pillars 4 OHM

2 4 inch PRV full range as dash pods 4 OHM

Each speaker will have its own channel, so will be running 2 4 channels.

Substage hasnt been decides upon as of yet.

Main source will be an Ipad Pro 12.9 (unless aftermarket HU will save me a huge headache)

Looking for recommendations on a DSP that will also help me achieve great sound/ sound adjustment

Welcome to SMD

Why not do a single 8 in each door, a 4" driver for midrange and a nice large bodied soft dome Tweeter and only need 6 channels of operation ??? Just asking

BTW: Starting out with a passive 2 way setup and learning what you are listening for help you answer your own question.

If you jump into an active 3 way setup without knowing what you are doing, it can hurt your setup more than help it. Just saying

in most cases, you will only need an active crossover network which you can find in an adequate head unit. I highly suggest doing some research before spending money. Again, Just a suggestion

Best of luck with your search.

I mean if your going pure SPL then yeah bullet horn. But if you want one of the the best tweeters you can buy with audiophile sound and a lower resonance.then most tweeters..then you'd seriously want to check.them out.

It's a serious fucking tweeter.

That's gonna be my next purchase.
