Joshdashef
For those who have had their gas lids go out on their Civics this may help you out. Sometimes they go bad near the key barrel because of a plastic piece but in the case of my civic coupe I had a metal connection that was crimped over the wire. The actual issue came with the rear mechanism near the driver side brake lights as shown here; The fix is simple really as you just need to stop the bottom connection with the crimp from moving away from the plastic mechanism. I did this with zip ties but you could easily do this with a number of supplies like hose clamps etc. without the need of running a whole new cable! Joshdashef
Ended up running the RCAs, remote turn on, bass knob, and deadening some of the spare tire well. My trick for looming up multiple wires - a semi loose zip tie RCAs Fuse Holder Bass knob and remote turn on Sound Deadening (temporary / plan on adding more to problem areas after I am able to test bump system) SMD Tool Map (2022): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/220267-smd-tool-map-2022/ My Port Size Calculator (in progress): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217087-port-size-calculator-in-progress/ Common Port Walls for a Slot Port: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217076-common-port-walls-why-it-matters-to-your-box/?tab=comments#comment-3240313
Joshdashef
My 1" unibit and Dd-1 came in today! Was able to plan out the power run and drill the two holes in the firewall. Gonna run the wire tomorrow morning to both fuse blocks. Then get to work on the grounds. I like the way you wrapped the wire, almost makes it OEM looking. Joshdashef
Got my component set and amp. Birth sheet for 4 ohms said 463 watts so about 115 on each channel - perfect for my needs. Also was able to take some pictures of my molex connectors for my doors. Probably will have to either drill through to molex connectors or push my wire through next to them... I used this little type-c otg camera to get some tricky pictures Also got some pictures of the engine bay side of my power wires if anyone was wondering about the space you have in there for more wire The weather has put this on hold for now sadly SMD Tool Map (2022): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/220267-smd-tool-map-2022/ My Port Size Calculator (in progress): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217087-port-size-calculator-in-progress/ Common Port Walls for a Slot Port: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217076-common-port-walls-why-it-matters-to-your-box/?tab=comments#comment-3240313
