Joshdashef
Not sure if wiring is the right section for this but figured since its the fuse holder it fits At any rate, I switched from some sky high dual 1/0 terminal to SMD fuse holders and I love them. Only issue I have is with the one in the engine compartment. It is quite far from anything hot but still has decided to curve downward as shown in the picture Will this curve cause issues or potentially snap the fuse holder?? I've noticed the lugs seem to be looser than how I originally tightened them about a few weeks ago. Any help would be appreciated. The zip tie in the lower right corner of the fuse holder was not tightened down tight only to stop and side to side movement with a little slack. meade916
the fuse holder is made of plastic. If you mount it on an uneven surface, hanging over the edge of that uneven surface, with the weight of 2 1/0 cables pulling it down while exposing it to a lot of heat, that could happen. That could happen to anything made of plastic. Email us at [email protected] we will give you a brand new one. The new ones are much better but you still need to find a solid surface to mount it to. thanks!
