Removing album art from music files

Recommended Posts

Just like the title states, I have large files on my PC of music (songs) but some, about half or more, have album art attached to them that I 100% don't need or care.  It becomes an issue when I have my music on USB drives and am updating them and it not only takes up space but does the thing where it says they're needed files and needs permission to delete them etc.  Not the end of the world but it's a Effing* hassle and takes up space on my drives

IS THERE A WAY TO REMOVE all album art from a file without disrupting the music attached to it???  As in say one file has 900'ish songs with 50% or more having album art, can I just like get rid of the album art only to all at once?  Hell even if I had to do it individually I would.  Now figure in multiple files, drives, in vehicles, PC at home, phone, etc.  I haven't been able to figure out a way to get rid of the worthless album art ?

As cheap as Capacity is anymore on flash drives why bother removing the art?

I honestly like the art on flash drives for the car stereo visual it adds.

Try dealing with Plex and the way it sorts shit out and you'll fucking hate life.
